At our November Teen Council meeting, we’re rolling up our sleeves to make progress on our fall micro-grant project and getting a first look at one of the most exciting opportunities of the year—Advocacy Day.
What to expect:
- Hands-on work developing and advancing our micro-grant project — a teen-led mental health initiative making a real impact right here in Johnson County
- An introduction to Advocacy Day, Zero Reasons Why’s signature spring event held at the Kansas State Capitol — where JoCo teens get to meet face-to-face with legislators and connect with ZRW teen advocates from across the state
- A chance to find out how you can be part of it this spring
- Free coffee & food from Hermetheus Coffee on us!
- Volunteer hours for attending
