Free | Open to All JoCo High Schoolers | Volunteer Hours Available
At our October Teen Council meeting, we’re taking one of the most exciting steps of the year—presenting and voting on our fall micro-grant applications. This is teen-led mental health advocacy in action, and every voice in the room counts.
What to expect:
- Teen council members will present their micro-grant proposals — real, community-driven mental health projects and campaigns designed by JoCo students, for JoCo students
- The Teen Council will vote together on which project receives the grant funding
- A chance to witness (and be part of) grassroots change happening right here in Johnson County
- Free coffee & food from Hermetheus Coffee on us!
- Volunteer hours for attending
This is what Zero Reasons Why is all about — young people making real decisions about mental health in their community. Whether you submitted an application or you’re showing up to support your peers, this meeting is one you don’t want to miss.
Free. Open to all Johnson County high schoolers. No experience needed. Just RSVP & show up!
